23rd China International Agrochemicals and Crop Protection Exhibition (CAC2023) is a preeminent event in the agrochemical and crop protection industry, showcasing cutting-edge products, technologies, and solutions. The event is set to take place at National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai) from May 23 to 25, 2023.

Director of the Foreign Trade Department of the Ministry of Commerce, Xingqian Li, recently stated that it is imperative to fully resume holding domestic export exhibitions and to support foreign trade enterprises in participating in various professional exhibitions abroad, in order to foster increased trade opportunities.

CAC2023 seeks to leverage this trend and establish a one-stop professional communication platform for global agrochemical professionals. Preparations for the event are progressing smoothly, with an outpouring of interest from participating enterprises and a higher-than-expected number of registered visitors.

Since the announcement of the new dates and venue, enterprises have displayed an enthusiastic response, with many expanding their exhibition areas. Over 600 new enterprises have registered, with a total of more than 1,500 domestic and foreign companies expected to exhibit. The exhibition area will surpass 90,000 square meters, with booth spaces in Halls 5.2, 6.2, and 7.2 already fully booked, and spaces in Hall 8.2 quickly filling up.

Finding suppliers and products in CAC2023

Intensified efforts are underway to invite buyers and visitors both domestically and internationally. Already, registered visitors hail from over 20 countries, including Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Thailand, Vietnam, India, South Korea, and Australia. After intensive invitations in January 2023, new buyers from an additional 20 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Hungary, New Zealand, Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Nepal, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Lebanon, and South Africa, have registered to attend the offline exhibition. To date, registered visitors from more than 50 countries are expected to attend CAC2023, which will welcome overseas buyer delegations and 40,000 audiences from across the globe, to engage in trade exchange and discuss cooperation opportunities.

The majority of overseas visitors are highly professional and hold significant decision-making power. Currently, 59.8% of registered visitors are international business operation managers, 26.5% are corporate executives such as CEOs, CFOs, COOs, with many others being R&D technicians and buyers.
