6th batch pesticide registration of 2026 announced, covering 528 product registrations: 1 spinetoram TK registration, first-time registration of bixlozone and tiorantraniliprole combinations

On June 30, 2026, ICAMA announced the 6th batch pesticide registration of 2026, including 528 products to be approved.
1. TC/TK products
Herbicides (12, including 1 TK, 5 for overseas use only): Thiencarbazone-methyl is added with 3 TC registrations, which is of the largest share of registration; tebuthiuron, saflufenacil and clopyralid are each added with 1 TC registration; pethoxamid, triclopyr butoxyethyl ester, halosulfuron-methyl, florasulam and iodosulfuron methyl sodium are each added with 1 TC registration for overseas use only; glufosinate-P ammonium salt is added with 1 TK registration.
Among them, Ningxia Yifan Biotech filed for registration of pethoxamid 94.5% TC, which is a product with no registration yet before this day.
Insecticide/acaricides (9, including 1 TK and 1 for overseas use only): Pyriproxyfen is added with 2 TC registrations; lufenuron, cyproflanilide, clothianidin, chlorantraniliprole and etoxazole are each added with 1 TC registration; ethiprole is added with 1 TC registration for overseas use only; spinetoram is added with 1 TK registration.
Among them, Jiangxi Tianyu Chemical filed for registration of a cyproflanilide TC registration with 98% content. Previously, its mother company CAC International obtained 1 TC registrations of same content as well as 1 TC registration for export to Cambodia.
Anhui Andifeng Technology filed for registration of spinetoram 82% TK, which, if approved, will be the second TK registration held by a Chinese registrant following Qilu Pharmaceutical (Inner Mongolia), with a higher content than that of Corteva and Qilu Pharmaceutical (Inner Mongolia) with a content of 81.2%.
Fungicides (8, including 1 TK): Fluopyram is added with 2 TC registrations; picoxystrobin, prothioconazole, ipconazole, thiabendazole and trifloxystrobin are each added with 1 TC registration; bacillus amyloliquefaciens SN16-1 is added with 1 TK registration.
Among them, Dezhou Xinshili Fine Chemical filed for an ipconazole TC registration with a content of 98%, higher than Arysta’s 97% and Udragon’s 96.5%.
Shanghai Shuyin Intelligent Technology filed for a bacillus amyloliquefaciens TK registration, a SN16-1 10 billion CFU/g TK product. Previously, East China University of Science and Technology obtained registration of a same pesticide product, covering the same TK and a WDG product registration for control of tomato damping off.
Plant growth regulators (4): Indolebutyric acid, heteroauxin, benayl aminopurine and 28-Homobrassinolide are each added with 1 TC registration.

2. Formulation products
Among the 495 formulation products to be approved in this batch, some major pesticide varieties are applied for the first time to formulation or used in new combinations, detailed as follows:
- Diflufenican is registered for the first time for control of carrot annual weeds.
- Cyantraniliprole is registered for the first time for use in peanut crops for control of grubs.
- Fluxapyroxad is registered for the first time in mix with cyproconazole for control of wheat scab, rust and powdery mildew.
- Bayer mixes flufenacet with metribuzin to control potato annual weeds.
- Pilarquim filed for registration of a new combination of amicarbazone with S-metolachlor, which will be in an amicarbazone microcapsule type of formulation.
- Chlorfenapyr is registered in mix with clothianidin for control of corn grubs.
- Shanghai Yuelian filed for registration of afidopyropen formulations, in combination with afidopyropen and cis-cypermethrin against cabbage aphids.
- Jinggangmycin is newly mixed with metconazole to control wheat scab.
- Tiorantraniliprole is used for the first time as a combination product, to be formulated with lambda-cyhalothrin for control of cabbage diamondback moth.
- Folpet is newly used in combination with cyazofamid for control of grape downy mildew.
- Ametoctradin is newly formulated in mix with cymoxanil for control of potato late blight.
- Cyantraniliprole is newly mixed, respectively with dibenzoyl-1-tert-butylhydrazine (control of rice leaf roller) and hexaflumuron (control of cabbage diamondback moth).
- Flumioxazin is newly mixed with prometryn for control of cotton annual weeds.
- Pyroxasulfone is newly mixed, respectively with flufenacet and carfentrazone-ethyl for control of winter wheat annual weeds as well as with terbuthylazine for control of spring corn annual weeds.
- Fluopyram is newly mixed with cyprodinil for control of tomato gray mold.
- Sulfoxaflor is newly mixed with spirotetramat for control of peach tree aphids.
- FMC filed for the first registration of bixlozone formulation in China in mix with isoproturon for control of winter wheat annual weeds.
- Fluxapyroxad is newly registered as a seed treatment agent in mix with prothioconazole and clothianidin for control of wheat sharp eyespot and aphids.
