On 21st April, Chinese agrochemical company Nantong Jiangshan Agrochemical and Chemicals passed a resolution to spend Yuan226 million to construct two new production plants, including a 100,000-ton organic/inorganic compound fertilizer plant and a 200,000-ton glyphosate formulation plant.

To effectively utilize the company's by-product hydrochloric acid and salt, and to ensure a by-product balance and turn waste into wealth, it is planning to implement is "Industrial Acid Resource Utilization Project,” which will ensure the stable production of its current main product while eliminating possible contamination caused by by-products. The project will involve the annual production of 100,000 tons of organic and inorganic compound fertilizers, 15,000 tons of methane chloride, and 2,000 tons of calcium chloride aqueous solution. The project construction period is estimated to be 20 months.
